Do's and Dont's after a Car Accident

Today will be a short and sweet post on the Do's and Dont's at the scene of a car accident. As a car accident victim you need to understand that winning a case will not only depend on your car wreck attorney but also on you. So without further ado here is the list of do's and dont's.
Do:

• get name, adress of people involved in the accident as well as insurance information and make, model, color, licence plate number of cars involved
• name and adresses of pasengers in any of the vehicles as well as of any witnesses.
  
• record the weather condition and place of the accident.
  
• write down anything the driver at fault says (ex. im sory i was on the phone)
• if a police officer shows up note the officers name, badge number and city.
  
• Take pictures of the scene if possible.
  

Dont:

• Dont give a statement to the other partys insurance comapny without talking to your own car wreck attorney first.
  
• The same goes with your own imsurance company, talk to your lawyer first.
• NEVER ADMIT RESPONSABILITY to anyone at the scene or any insurance company.
